Four Quolls were born in WA, a victory for the endangered species!

Four quolls born in a WA sanctuary are the first independent births in the last century! Endemic to Australia, quolls live on the island state of Tasmania, but were considered extinct on the mainland after 1963. The baby quolls were spotted playing at the grounds and the Australia Wildlife Conservancy ecologists were able to use an identification system to identify them as newborns, giving great hope to the future of the species!

April 2024 milestone as fossil fuels power less than 25% of EU’s electricity!

Energy think tank Ember has found a record low of 23% fossil fuel usage in the EU in the month of April 2024. This encouraging news has led to expert and Ember’s European director Sarah Brown announcing that she believes ‘fossil fuels are on their way out in Europe.’
