How tricky items are recycled

At RecycleSmart, we love giving tricky-to-recycle items a second chance! Things like soft plastics, polystyrene, blister packs and other odds and ends can’t go in your kerbside recycling bin, but that doesn’t mean they should end up in landfill. We collect over 100 items and are always searching for the best solutions. By collecting these hard-to-recycle items, we reduce the need for landfill and keep valuable resources in circulation.

In this blog post, we unveil the process behind some of the most challenging materials that we collect in collaboration with a few of our recycling partners.
