Clunky Cardboard
Prepare your cardboard in three easy steps:

1. Book a Pickup
Book a clunky cardboard collection the same way you regularly book a Power Pickup.
Just let us know the number of boxes you would like to be removed.
$10 per empty carboard box.
Bonus! You can even add clunky cardboard boxes to your existing booking. Simply edit your booking in your account with the Plus feature.

2. Prepare your box(es)
No need to remove tape and labels or dismantle your boxes – your RecycleSmart driver will take care of that for you.
Find a safe accessible place to leave your clunky cardboard outside.
If this is not possible, choose a day when you can be home between 8am and 2pm.
We will collect a maximum of 5 empty clunky cardboard boxes, flattened or not.

3. Let us take care of the rest
Once your cardboard is ready for collection, there’s nothing left to do other than pour a cup of tea, put your feet up and enjoy that new couch, television or whatever it is you’ve unboxed!
Your local driver will count the number of empty cardboard boxes and charge accordingly.
You can relax knowing that your cardboard is being given a chance at a second (or third…or fourth…) life, and will be kept out of landfill.
We also collect cardboard in bulk from businesses.
