The holiday period usually leads to overflowing recycling bins. Bottles of beer from Christmas lunch and all those cardboard boxes that piled up from buying presents online.
You won’t have to jump on the recycling bin to squish more in this year. We have a special Christmas gift: we’ll take cardboard from the smaller gift boxes AND the clunky cardboard that doesn’t even fit in the bin!
We’re also now collecting empty cans or bottles (not crushed) accepted through the return and earn system, so they are guaranteed to be recycled into cans and bottles again. The 10c refund will be donated to supporting Flood Impacted Communities in NSW through GIVIT.
Gift boxes, clunky cardboard , bottles and cans are part of our new PLUS offering. You can book a PLUS booking on top of an existing pickup or by itself. They are not included in your regular free collection.
Gift boxes: $5 per shopping bag full of flattened boxes
Clunky cardboard: $5 per box
Bottles & Cans: $5 per shopping bag full of empty eligible containers.
