Making back to school and work sustainable
As the kids go back to school soon and a lot of people return to work, it’s the time to get organised again. We love a fresh start at the top of the year; a brand new diary, a pen full of ink or a crisp notebook.
It’s tempting to throw all the old and start again. But the best way to make your back to work sustainable is by using what you already have or buying secondhand. Although if you find a secondhand 2023 diary in an Op shop already, send us a picture!
For those things you have to replace, it’s always better to buy second-hand or recycled!
BuyEcoGreen - Recycled exercise books and notebooks made from 100% recycled waste paper
Harlequin Kids - Kids backpacks made from recycled PET bottles
Uniform Exchange - Buy and sell second hand uniforms, text books, instruments and more. You can use “Back to School” vouchers for this!
Nixon - Adult backpacks made from recycled ocean plastic
Lock & Lock - Reusable containers made from 100% post-production waste
For the stuff that needs to be recycled, we collect printer cartridges, batteries, laptops, tablets, keyboards, computer mouse…mice? Mouses? Whatever they are called, we collect them and much more!
